I did not know this band and I must say that I like a lot, the atmosphere is purely atrocious, suffocating, and a nice feeling of dementia and discomfort grab us all along this release like we were in hell, this is sick! Otherwise, the cover is sympathetic as others releases from the band and a work has been done for the visual. I'm still listening to this album, the disease is spreading...

Simple Black Metal with great atmosphere. Other than the studio version of "For the Glory of Satan" the live version really rocks! One of the rare tracks that together with "Gut the church" have burned themselves into my brain and I can't get them out anymore. Heathen Deity might be one of the most underrated BM bands of all times, delivering 2 tracks that should be on every BM playlist. 𝕺𝖛 𝕾𝖔𝖗𝖗𝖔𝖜
